Bryan Neubert Colt Starting/Problem Horse Class, September 2009

Thanks to all of the participants in the
colt class, who brought several different
breeds of horses and mules. Bryan
showed us how to safely use a "crisis"
to get our equines more trusting and
confident. Some of the issues worked
on were: saddling, mounting, riding,
handling feet, trailer loading, leading,
swinging ropes and flags, crossing
scary obstacles, leaving the group,
moving the front and hindquarters, and
backing. Nice group of horses and
riders!
